Plant Life Cycle
The first stage of the plant life cycle is the seed. Seeds are either planted are fall from flowers. The seed is a pod with all the future parts of the plant inside.
The second stage of the plant life cycle is the seedling. The seedling is a small plant with a weak stem and few leaves.
The third stage of the life cycle is the maturing stage. The mature plant is the adult plant and forms a strong stem, leaves and forms a flower.
The final fourth stage is the flowering stage. The flowering stage is when the flower is fully formed on the plant and then get pollinated and seeds will start to form in the flower.
Now that you have seen and read about the different stages of the plant take out your science journals and draw the life cycle of plant with pictures. Make sure to label each stage and use color. Use this picture to help you see how to set up your plant life cycle in your journal.
